NAS3 Case Producer Shell Shock To Sponsor John Vlieger

Earlier this year we reported on Shell Shock, a company developing innovative case tech for the ammunition industry. Recently they announced their sponsorship of talented USPSA action shooter John Vlieger. Shell Shock will be supplying Vlieger with its NAS3 cases for his matches in 2017.

Vlieger began seriously competing in the action shooting sports in 2014 while stationed at Fort Richardson, AK. When he was relocated by the Army to Fort Campbell, KY, Vlieger found that the easier access to the larger matches conducted on the East Coast allowed him to compete more. Initially an iron sights shooter, Vlieger found his calling in Open Division. He has since completed over 30 state, regional and national shooting matches, including an impressive 11th place finish at the 2017 USPSA Nationals (watch the video above for footage of Vlieger in action). Vlieger plans to finish the year with 18 competitions under his belt.

“I’m 5,000 rounds in and Shell Shock Technologies’ NAS3 cases have passed every test I can throw at them in competitive shooting,” remarked Vlieger. “Easy to pick up with a magnet, stronger than any pistol case has a right to be and durable as all get out; these qualities make them a go-to for my competition shooting, and I couldn’t be happier to partner with Shell Shock Technologies in 2017. Being able to represent them on and off the range is something I greatly look forward to, and I can’t wait to show people what these unique silver cases have to offer.”

Vlieger's next match is the USPSA Area 3 Championship in Grand Island, NE, August 4–6.
