Blackhawk tactical athlete Zach Rodman took first place in the Men’s Elite division at the 2022 Tactical Games Utah event. A two-day competition hosting nearly 200 competitors, the Tactical Games Utah took place March 12-13 at the Southern Utah Practical Shooting Range in Washington, Utah.

A 15-year veteran of the Kokomo, Indiana, police force and SWAT team, Rodman was using Blackhawk’s T-Series holster with leg straps and new Foundation Series Tac Nylon gear, including plate carrier, belt, and pouches during the competition. Both pieces of kit are cornerstones of his gear list for Tactical Games competition.

The Men’s Elite division is arguably the toughest classification in the Tactical Games. Watch this video to learn more about how Rodman utilizes Blackhawk’s Foundation Series plate carrier throughout the Tactical Games. The carrier gives competitors some of the most lightweight gear in its class for the Tactical Games competition—critical to maintaining speed and endurance while wearing heavy plate carriers.

Up next for Rodman will be the Tactical Games Ohio competition at Southington Hunt Club in Garrettsville, Ohio, on June 25-26. The season finale will take place November 5-6 at the Tactical Games National Championship at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas.
