As the end of the year draws near, there is no better time to highlight the cover features published by Shooting Sports USA in 2023. Overall, 2023 was another banner year for competitive shooting, and we kicked off our coverage with a January feature about USA Shooting on the Path to Paris 2024. The 2023 NRA National Matches at Camp Atterbury were a huge success, with our coverage highlighting the High Power Rifle, Precision Pistol and Smallbore Rifle Championships. In addition, this year included match reports from the F-Class World Championships, NCAA Rifle Championships and the Rifle Silhouette Nationals held at the NRA Whittington Center. Another highlight of 2023 was iconic shooter Jerry Miculek, who fronted our November issue, along with a cover feature after setting two NRA World Records at Smith & Wesson’s newly opened headquarters in Marysville, Tennessee. To close out the year, two USA Shooting athletes were featured on the December cover, Sagen Maddalena and Mary Tucker, who were among the many U.S. athletes to medal in shooting events at the 2023 Pan American Games.

See all these and more below in our recap of the 2023 Shooting Sports USA covers.
