World English Sporting Championship: Team Remington’s Hitch Helps Win 3-Person Junior National Title

“Tennessee Terror” Todd Hitch secures 2022 World English Sporting Championship three-person Junior National Team title

Team Remington’s Todd Hitch, a.k.a. “The Tennessee Terror” garnered a first-place finish at the 2022 World English Sporting Championship in the three-person Junior National Team event. Sporting clays shooters from around the world competed at this year’s event, which took place April 19-24 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.

Hitch, with teammates Joseph Fanizzi and Joseph Pinchin, earned a combined score of 525 to defeat the English team (472) in the three-person Junior National Event. Fanizzi led the way for the U.S. shooters with 178 broken targets, while Hitch had 170 and Pinchin with 177.

The tournament included a 200-target sporting clays main event, along with 100-target old-style FITASC, Super Sporting and NSCA Five-Stand events. There were also sub-gauge and sub-gauge FITASC side events.

For ammunition, Hitch was using Remington’s Premier STS shells.
