Winchester: Official Ammunition Of The Scholastic Clay Target Program

At a time when supporting the youth shooting sports could not be more important, Winchester remains the official ammunition of the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), displaying its strong commitment to thousands of young competitive shooting athletes and coaches around the country. Youth shooting sports participation through the SCTP has exploded over the past 10 years. (Watch our video of the 2019 SCTP Nationals at the Cardinal Center above.)

Led by over 3,500 coaches, approximately 18,000 young shooters compete through SCTP, which is part of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF), an educational-athletic organization that introduces school-age youths to the shooting sports. Vital youth shooting groups like SCTP would not exist without the financial support from companies such as Winchester Ammunition. The SCTP depends on generous corporate sponsorship to continue its mission of reaching youth and recruiting them into the shooting sports.

Not only is Winchester the official ammunition for SCTP, the company also produces the official ammunition for the SCTP International Team. This elite group is comprised of the top 15 SCTP youth shooters across the U.S. that compete in International shooting disciplines.

Earlier this year, Winchester worked with SCTP to create a new discounted shotshell purchase program available only to SCTP Teams. Teams that would like to participate in future purchase programs should contact their SCTP representative. And, both groups have future plans to work on more discount offers like this one.
