The 2023 Scholastic Clay Target Program National Championship kicks off this week at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio.
With more than 3,500 youth shooting sports athletes and 300 teams from more than 30 states, the SCTP National Championship is a top match for the nation’s best youth shooters. In addition, the match provides a festival environment with activities and vendors suitable for the entire family.
“The SCTP National Championship represents all the positives that youth shooting sports can offer; competition, family, friends and the outdoors … it’s an event unlike any other in the country,” Jason Gilbertson, director of marketing for Winchester Ammunition, said. “Competitive shooting continues to be one of the fastest growing sports at the high school level, and Winchester is honored to be the official ammunition of the SCTP and this event.”
Winchester Ammunition, as the official ammunition of Scholastic Clay Target Program and the SCTP National Team, will be on-site for the duration event featuring promotions, pro-staff appearances, Winchester branded merchandise and, of course, plenty of Winchester AA and Super-Target shotshells to keep these youth competitors on the firing line pulling triggers and having fun.
