Beretta unveils the new A300 Ultima Patrol Chisel Stock semi-automatic shotgun at its Range Day in Nevada in January 2025.

New for 2025 from Beretta is the A300 Ultima Patrol Chisel Stock semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun made in partnership with Chisel Machining. This exciting new scattergun was available for evaluation during Beretta’s Range Day at the Pro Gun Club in Boulder City, Nevada, held just before SHOT Show 2025 in January. Watch the video above.

The Chisel Machining A300 stock is made from CNC-machined, black anodized 6061 solid billet aluminum and incorporates an RMR-footprint mounting plate for optics compatibility. Additionally, the stock is adjustable for length of pull (in 1/4-inch increments to as far as 14¼ inches), along with cheek-pad height and recoil-pad height adjustment.

Beretta worked closely with Chisel Machining on research and development of the new A300 stock over the past year. Right now, the stock is available at the Chisel website, and Beretta will have the A300 Ultima Patrol Chisel Stock available for purchase later in 2025. (Photo courtesy Chisel Machining)

Besides the RMR optics-mounting plate, Kick-Eez recoil pad and cheek pad, there’s an AR-15 pistol grip, a GrovTec steel quick-detach cup and four more potential quick-detach points on the Chisel Machining Beretta A300 stock.

During the 2025 Beretta Range Day, Shooting Sports USA staff had the chance to shoot the new A300 Ultima Patrol Chisel Stock semi-automatic shotgun, configured with a Trijicon RMR red-dot optic and suppressor. Probably the best feature is the adjustable cheek pad, which makes it easy to maintain a nice cheek weld even when using a different optic. Recoil pad height is also easy to adjust with two screws after removing the pad.

While the A300 Ultima Patrol Chisel Stock is not showing up on the website at the moment, Beretta USA Brand Marketing Manager for Hunting Joe Cunniffe said it should be available for purchase by the third quarter of 2025 at the latest, with MSRP in the neighborhood of $1,500.

In addition, the new A300 stock from Chisel Machining is available separately from the company as an aftermarket upgrade for Beretta A300 and A300 Ultima Patrol shotguns. According to the Chisel Machining website: “This is a quick swap using stock mounting hardware … Installation should take just a few minutes, using simple tools.” Price starts at $500.

Additionally, optics-mounting plates for the Aimpoint ACRO and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprints will be available from Chisel Machining in the future.
