Team Bushnell and Team Taurus shooter KC Eusebio claimed first place in the Open division and High Overall at the 2022 USPSA Area 1 Championship. The competition was held June 2-3 by the Idaho Society of Practical Shooters.

There were 388 competitors spread across seven divisions at the 2022 USPSA Area 1 Championship. Here is the breakdown: 143 Carry Optics, 103 Open, 52 Limited, 48 Pistol Caliber Carbine, 22 Production, 16 Single Stack and four Limited 10.

Eusebio’s teammate, Jessie Harrison, who is also a member of Team Hoppe’s and Team Taurus, secured the High Lady title at the match.

Throughout the match, both Eusebio and Harrison were equipped with their Bushnell First Strike 2.0 reflex sights. “Area 1 was a fast-paced, run-and-gun type of match and I loved every moment of it,” Eusebio said. “We had to shoot in the rain for the majority of the match and being able to clearly see my targets through the rain with my First Strike 2.0 helped maintain my marksmanship and seal the win.”

Eusebio’s and Harrison’s latest wins add to a string of recent USPSA victories including Eusebio’s 2022 Dragons Cup and World Speed Shooting Championship titles, as well as Harrison becoming the first woman to claim the Overall Steel Master award at the World Speed Shooting Championships.

Up next for Team Bushnell is the 2022 USPSA Area 5 Championship, which will take place July 27-28 in Brooklyn, Michigan.
