At the 2024 NSCA North Central Regional, Team Remington’s Brandon Powell won four events including Super Sport, 100-Target Warm-Up, Beretta Prelim (100 targets) and Five-Stand events. The match was held at Woods & Meadow Sporting Clays in Warrens, Wisconsin, May 28 to June 2.
This year’s tournament brought in more than 500 shooters competing in multiple events.
Powell won the Super Sport event with a score of 98 of 100 and the 100-Target Warm-Up with 99 of 100. As for the Beretta Prelim, his final score was 97 of 100, and in the Five-Stand event he posted a score of 96 of 100.
Additionally, Powell finished third in the Federal Ammunition FITASC event with a score of 95 of 100, as well as fifth place in the Main Event with 184 of 200.
Powell’s Big Green teammate, Todd Hitch, won the True Pair event with a score of 49 of 50, also finishing third in the Junior Main Event with 184 of 200, one place behind Remington teammate and runner-up Turner Parcell, who walked away from the tournament with a score of 181 of 200.
“The sporting clays team continues to pile up significant wins this season,” Remington’s Marketing Director Joel Hodgdon said. “When you pair high quality shooters with the best ammunition, it is the kind of results we expect from our accomplished team and we never get tired of seeing the podium finishes.”
All Remington team members use Remington’s Premier STS and Premier Nitro shotshells in competition, which offer a high level of consistency and accuracy.
