MasterPiece Arms premiered the new MPA BA Precision Match Rifle (PMR) at SHOT Show 2019 in Last Vegas, NV. Designed especially for the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Production division, namely having a price under the hard limit of $2,000. The new rifle is available in 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmoor and .308 Win.
MPA BA PMR Competition Rifle
The MPA Buttstock comes with an adjustable cheek riser and length of pull that are locked in position with a series of set screws that are embedded into the buttstock body.

The BA PMR Competition Rifle is feature-rich with the kinds of things precision shooters love, starting with MPA's BA Ultra Lite chassis. This chassis is CNC-machined from aluminum, the v-bedding system allows for additional clearance for glass bedding action and the straight section of the barrel.

The Ultra Lite chassis includes a built-in inclinometer, thumb notch, bottom-mounted Picatinny rail, 20 MOA scope rail an A2-style pistol grip. The buttstock sports a cheek riser and length of pull that is adjustable with a series of set screws, similar to the standard BA chassis but sans thumb wheels.

Barrel muzzle thread is 5/8-24 TPI. Notice the bottom-mount Picatinny rail.

Barrel length is 26-inches (#7 contour), and its an X-Caliber hand lapped 416R stainless premium barrel blank with a polished finish. The chamber is indicated within .0001-inch or less to the bore of the rifle. The Trigger Tech special trigger is adjustable between 1 and 3 pounds.

Rifle weight is 11.5 pounds, and it accepts AICS-type magazines. One 10-round Magpul magazine is included.
