Registration for the 2024 NRA World Shooting Championship, presented by Walther, is currently open and there are still spots available for competitors. Held yearly with a variety of challenging courses of fire derived from multiple shooting sports disciplines, the 2024 NRA World Shooting Championship will be held at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, from April 4-6.
At the match, shooters will vie for the title of “World’s Greatest Overall Shooter.” Past winners include Daniel Horner (2014), Bruce Piatt (2015), Doug Koenig (2016), Greg Jordan (2017 and 2019) and Tim Yackley (2018).
All firearms, ammunition, optics and equipment are supplied to NRA World Shooting Championship competitors by the NRA and match sponsors, including Walther, Ruger, Weatherby, Mossberg, Magnum Research, Kimber, FOSTECH, Henry Repeating Arms, Global Ordinance, KelTec, SAR USA, TriStar, Taurus, Vortex, HOLOSUN, Silencer Central, Fiocchi, CCI, Capstone Group, OTIS, Hi-Viz and more.
The 2024 NRA World Shooting Championship has an impressive prize pool of approximately $250,000, including cash, firearms and equipment. The main prize is $25,000 for the overall winner, while stage winners will receive $1,000 for each of the 12 competition stages.

Competitors at the 2024 NRA World Shooting Championship can shoot seven different events per day over the course of the three-day match—four competition stages and three of the side matches.
