Long rifle shooters take note: MasterPiece Arms has a new bolt-action chambered in .300 Norma. The .300 Norma has been growing in popularity for long range shooters, and in 2016, U.S. Special Operations Command selected it for the new Advanced Sniper Rifle Cartridge. MPA says the new rifle will have 1/2 MOA accuracy.
The MPA .300 Norma Bolt Action Rifle has a Curtis Custom Axiom Long Action, and a Spencer MPA 26-inch rifle barrel made from 416RQ stainless steel. The Curtis spiral fluted one-piece bolt has a DLC coating, and is hand lapped to fit each individual action.
The MPA Tactical Chassis System is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum. The v-bedding system provides extra clearance for glass bedding action and straight section of the barrel. The chassis also includes a built-in bubble level, thumb notch, upper and lower mounted Picatinny rails, and the new MPA Enhanced Vertical Grip.
The buttstock features an adjustable length of pull, adjustable cheek riser and monopod. The length of pull and cheek position are locked by setscrews embedded in the buttstock body.
$3,275. A five-round AICS-type magazine is included. The MPA .300 Norma Bolt Action Rifle is available in several colors. Custom Cerakote colors have an upcharge for the chassis body and the barreled action.
