The Amateur Trapshooting Association’s 20th Annual Empire Satellite Grand American will be held at the NYSTA Homegrounds in Cicero, N.Y., May 8-12.

The 20th annual Empire Grand American will be held at the New York State Amateur Trapshooting Association Homegrounds in Cicero, New York, May 8-12, 2024. There is still time to pre-squad for this Amateur Trapshooting Association Satellite Grand competition, as the pre-squadding period will remain open until May 6.

Located in the heart of central New York, Amateur Trapshooting Association President Billy Cook describes the NYSATA Homegrounds as “a great place to visit and for trapshooting enthusiasts to come together, share experiences and showcase their skills. The welcoming atmosphere is made all the better by the wonderful staff and selfless volunteers that make the Empire Grand an amazing and smoothly ran shoot.”

The tournament will start on Wednesday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m. There will be 14 numbered events at the 2024 Empire Grand American, including the Empire Grand American High-Over-All event, presented by White Flyer. A 1,000-target competition, the Empire Grand American High-Over-All event (No. 14) includes events No. 4 through No. 12.

Hosting events No. 1 through No. 6 will be the New York State ATA, and events No. 7 through No. 12 comprise the Empire Grand.

Amateur Trapshooting Association rules will govern the 2024 Empire Grand American, and the scores will be included in the official records.
