Team USA’s Katelyn Abeln walked away from the Women’s 25m Pistol event qualification round at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday with a spot in tomorrow’s final.
Abeln exited qualification with a score of 585-19X, giving her the number eight ranking and the last spot in the final.
Her scores in precision were 94, 97 and 99, while for rapid fire she posted a pair of 98s, along with 99 in the third series.
There were 40 competitors in Women’s 25m Pistol at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Abeln’s U.S. teammate, Ada Korkhin, finished the Women’s 25m Pistol qualification round in 32nd place with a score of 571-17X.

The Women’s 25m Pistol event final will be held at the Chateauroux Shooting Center on Friday, August 2, at 9:30 a.m. (Paris time).
Earlier this week at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Abeln competed in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol event, finishing in 24th place after the qualification round.
