New from Walther Arms is the latest addition to the Performance Duty Pistol (PDP) lineup, the PDP Pro-X Parker Mountain Machine handgun chambered in 9 mm Luger, which the company describes as “a groundbreaking collaboration with Parker Mountain Machine that brings unparalleled performance and precision to the world of handguns.”
Developed in partnership with Parker Mountain Machine, the PDP Pro-X Parker Mountain Machine pistol has a custom compensator designed specifically for the PDP to reduce recoil and muzzle rise.
Available in both compact and full-size models, the PDP Pro-X has 18-round and 20-round magazine capacities.
The Parker Mountain Machine compensator is made from 7075 aluminum and finished in type III class 2 hard coat anodize in black.
“All of our compensators are tested in a Ransom Rest and measured with a digital inclinometer, tested with 115- and 124-grain factory-loaded ammo to ensure a broader range of ammo use while maintaining reliability,” Jarod Legsdin, the owner of Parker Mountain Machine said.
A four-inch slide made from steel with a threaded 4.6-inch barrel (full-size) is integrated into a five-inch polymer frame which accommodates the compensator. Also present is Walther’s Dynamic Performance Trigger.
In addition, the Walther PDP Pro-X sports an aluminum magazine well and base pads.
Weight for the full-size model is 27.4 ounces (sans magazine) and 24 ounces for the compact model.
“We are incredibly excited to collaborate with Parker Mountain Machine, an aftermarket favorite among Walther owners, to bring the PDP Pro-X Parker Mountain Machine to life,” Walther Arms, Inc., President and CEO Rob McCanna said. “This partnership combines the best of both worlds—Walther’s legendary performance and Parker Mountain Machine’s innovative design. We are confident that this model will exceed the expectations of even the most discerning shooters.”
MSRP for both the full-size and compact PDP Pro-X PMM handguns from Walther Arms is $999. Learn more at waltherarms.com.
