A new firearm CLP with origins in the military is now available for civilians. StrikeHold is a "fast-acting, penetrating cleaner and lubricant," engineered by Michael Huggard, formerly of the 82nd Airborne Division.

According to the company, "[StrikeHold] goes on wet and dries in place, leaving a hard finish coating that protects firearms by deterring carbon build-up, contaminants and corrosion in all weather conditions."

As a cleaner, StrikeHold removes firing residues, gum build-up as well as foreign debris from firearms components. As a lubricant, it contains synthetic additives that are like microscopic ball-bearings with friction-reduction properties.

While we have not tried StrikeHold out for ourselves here at SSUSA yet, one testimonial provided to us said, "Although these [rifles] were cleaned and oiled before being put away, I can't believe how much material, lead and other residue that StrikeHold loosened up."

Manufactured in Marble Hill, GA, StrikeHold is available now across the country. A 16-ounce spray bottle of StrikeHold is $16.45 and can be purchased at the company website. However, the better deal is two 12-ounce aerosol cans of StrikeHold for $19.95, plus free shipping with this coupon code: #SHIPFREE.
