Springfield Armory has released new drop-in threaded barrels for its Hellcat 9 mm and XD-M 4.5-inch 9 mm, 10 mm and .45 ACP pistols.
Both new barrels are hammer forged for durability and precision performance.
The threaded barrel kit for the Hellcat features a 3.8-inch hammer-forged threaded barrel with self-indexing compensator, along with a thread protector. This drop-in barrel system features 1/2x28 threading and is designed to work with any standard configuration three-inch Hellcat 9 mm pistol. It has a black Melonite finish on the barrel for rust-resistance and lubricity.
The compensator included with the Hellcat Threaded Barrel kit is made from 8082 aluminum, weighs 0.7 ounce and is anodized matte black. Rate of twist of the barrel is 1:10-inch, and it weighs 2.72 ounces.
Upgrade your XD-M pistol to be suppressor ready with the threaded barrels designed for the Springfield Armory XD-M 4.5-inch. Available for 9 mm, 10 mm and .45 ACP XD-M variants, these drop-in threaded barrels have a black Melonite coating for rust-resistance and lubricity. Additionally, the barrels come with included thread protectors.
Rate of twist of the XD-M barrels is 1:10-inch for 9 mm, and 1:16-inch for both 10 mm and .45 ACP. The 9 mm barrel weighs 4.04 ounces, the 10 mm barrel 4.45 ounces and the .45 ACP barrel comes in at 3.66 ounces. Finally, the 9 mm barrel has 1/2x28 threading, while the 10 mm and .45 ACP barrels sport .578x28 threading.
MSRP for the Hellcat 3.8-inch threaded barrel with self-indexing compensator is $199.99. All three of the XD-M threaded barrels in 9 mm, 10 mm and .45 ACP have an MSRP of $159.99.
