Smith & Wesson recently announced the release of a new Jerry Miculek signature revolver called the Performance Center Model 327 WR 9 mm, which is inspired by Miculek’s NRA World Record shooting performance during the grand opening of Smith & Wesson’s new headquarters in Maryville, Tennessee, in October 2023.

Overall height is 7¾ inches and the width is 1.71 inches. Overall weight is 35.52 ounces.

Designed in partnership with professional shooter and Smith & Wesson brand ambassador Jerry Miculek, the Model 327 WR incorporates features that will enhance your speed and accuracy. This lightweight 9 mm handgun is built on a scandium N-Frame and includes a titanium cylinder. Included with the brass bead front and adjustable rear sight package are a Vortex COMPDOT and C.O.R.E. optic-plate system for revolvers that accommodates a wide range of red-dot optics.

In addition, the Model 327 WR revolver features a JM Signature laminated wood grip that provides optimal ergonomics for any necessary adjustments needed between holster draw and target acquisition.

The new Smith & Wesson Jerry Miculek Performance Center Model 327 World Record revolver ships in a custom Pelican hardcase with a foam insert to safely secure the handgun and all of its included accessories. (Ammunition not included.)

The Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 327 WR 9 mm revolver sports an eight-round capacity, five-inch ported stainless-steel barrel (1:10-inch twist) and a double-action trigger made from chromed stainless steel. Also included with the revolver is a Pelican hard case with a foam insert to safely secure the handgun, along with the included moon-clip loading and unloading tools and other accessories.

Plus, the new revolver is lightweight, weighing in at 2.22 pounds and also has a 6.125-inch sight radius.

As for the limited release of 1,880 units, this number reflects Miculek’s NRA World Record shooting time of 1.88 seconds.

At the Smith & Wesson headquarters grand opening weekend last October, Miculek set two NRA World Records with his Model 327 WR prototype, making history once again and further positioning himself as one of the greatest shooters to ever pick up a revolver. The records included the fastest time to hit six steel plates at seven yards from the draw with a 9 mm handgun in 2.01 seconds, and the same with a revolver in 1.88 seconds.

At Smith & Wesson’s new headquarters in Maryville, Tenn., on October 6, 2023, Miculek set the NRA World Record for hitting six steel plates with a 9 mm revolver at seven yards after a red-hot 1.88-second run.

“Crafted from the blueprint of shooting excellence, the new Model 327 WR is more than just a high-performance firearm—it’s a legacy,” Smith & Wesson Product Manager Corey Beaudreau said. “With modern upgrades to an already trusted platform, Jerry’s new signature revolver is a tribute to the mastery of precision and the art of sports shooting perfected by Jerry himself.”

MSRP is $3,499. For more information about the new Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 327 WR revolver, go to smith-wesson.com.
