New from SIG Sauer is the ROMEO3MAX-PRO, which the company bills as “the ultimate, competition-ready pistol reflex sight.”

The ROMEO3MAX-PRO was designed in collaboration with Team SIG Captain Max Michel, a 13-time National Champion, seven-time World Speed Shooting Champion, ISPC World Champion and holder of a Guinness World Record.

Housed in a low-profile aircraft grade CNC aluminum housing allowing for co-witness with suppressor-height backup iron sights, this competition-ready open reflex sight also sports a DeltaPoint Pro mounting footprint designed to fit all SIG P320 pistols. The ROMEO3MAX-PRO has a 31 mm distortion-free aspheric glass lens with red notch reflector coating, and red-dot reticles (three-MOA or eight-MOA dot) with 15 brightness settings.

Additionally, the ROMEO3MAX-PRO has a side-mounted tray for easy battery changes without the need to remove the optic, along with 20,000 hours of runtime from a common CR1632 battery (at medium brightness setting). Plus, it is IPX-7 waterproof rated for fog proof performance and uses both motion activated illumination and magnetic activation.

Total elevation and windage travel are both 100 MOA.

Overall length is 1.83 inches and height and width are both 1.36 inches. Weight, including the battery, is 1.1 ounce.

“I’m thrilled to announce the release of the new ROMEO3MAX-PRO. After more than five years of success with my original ROMEO3MAX optic, we redesigned and re-engineered this optic with loads of new upgrades,” Michel said. “The ROMEO3MAX-PRO has a PRO footprint so it can be easily mounted on any SIG P320 without an adapter plate, an aspheric glass lens for amazing clarity, a gigantic window for faster target acquisition, and a thin housing around the lens that virtually disappears when aiming for an unobstructed view. Bottom line, whether you are a competitor or an enthusiast, this optic will give you the advantage you will appreciate.”
