About is new Gen-2 3MR AR trigger, Delta V Solutions said this match-grade, single-stage performance trigger system with a 4½-lb.trigger pull rate has “the cleanest sear break, the shortest assisted reset and split times counted in micro-seconds.”

The Gen-2 3MR is a unitized, drop-in trigger system that easily installs into standard AR-15 and AR-10 receivers that utilize a milspec-style fire control group with the small 0.154-inch trigger and hammer pins.

In addition, the Gen-2 3MR trigger assembly sports a three-mode selector system and an assisted reset design. Upgraded from the original 3MR trigger system, the Gen-2 3MR also features an improved disconnector engagement surface geometry that offers even smoother, more precise and quicker sear engagement transfer during reset and does so in the shortest distance possible.

The system also includes a proprietary ambidextrous selector that regulates the trigger’s three operational modes: safe, semi-automatic and the Delta V patented “3rd Mode.”

In semi-automatic mode, the Gen-2 3MR presents single-stage operation with zero take-up and minimal sear travel for a clean, crisp and efficient break that minimizes shooter-induced shot disturbance and enhances accurate point-of-aim, point-of-impact performance. By itself, the Gen-2 3MR in semi-automatic mode is a major upgrade to conventional AR triggers.

As for the 3rd Mode, it unleashes the Gen-2 3MR’s positive reset function. This system transfers energy from the bolt carrier through the trigger assembly to quickly and precisely engage the trigger with the hammer sear. With this, only the slightest forward movement of the trigger finger establishes the reset, making the trigger ready for the next shot.

The Gen-2 3MR allows the shooter to fine-tune the trigger’s positive reset characteristic by adjusting tension in the spring and plunger assembly in the back of the hammer, which interacts with the Gen-2 3MR’s reset assist arm.

Trigger components are Nickel Teflon coated for durability and lubricity.
