Birchwood Casey has released a new soft-padded case for AR-15 and AKM-pattern rifles. Called the Single Gun Case 36-inch, the MSRP is $69.99.

As the name implies, this new case is designed to accommodate rifles that are up to 36 inches in length. Made of 600D polyester, the Single Gun Case 36-inch has a dual-zippered main compartment for securely stowing a firearm, along with padded side panels for optimum protection during transport.

For convenience, the new case is equipped with padded, adjustable shoulder straps for hand-free carry to and from the range.

In addition to the secure main compartment, the case includes three large exterior storage pouches that can store magazines, ammunition or other accessories such as cleaning supplies, gloves and ear and eye protection. Plus, a strap-and-buckle system allows shooters to close the case snug to prevent contents from tumbling around.
