At the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ (VFW) 116th National Convention, six highly respected and admired veterans were awarded with Henry Repeating Arms Military Service Tribute Rifles. Anthony Imperato, President of Henry Repeating Arms, began the memorable night by presenting VFW Commander-in-Chief John W. Stroud with a tribute rifle. This thoughtful gift is a sincere appreciation for VFW Commander-in-Chief Stroud’s service to our country and his leadership to our nation’s veterans.

The appreciation of our distinguished veterans continued, and Mr. Imperato presented five veterans with their own Military Service Tribute Rifle. These veterans were United States Army Chief Warrant Officer Eugene L. Perrino, Sr.; United States Army Command Sergeant Major, Retired, Tim Green; United States Navy Third Class Radioman John Wrinkle; Air National Guard Retired Tech Sergeant Shannan F. Brown; and United States Marine 3rdBattalion Michael Depew. Mr. Imperato was honored to present these rifles to each veteran on stage, and give them the recognition they deserve.

As a final gesture of heartfelt thanks, Mr. Imperato, with his dad in mind, gave the VFW a $50,000 donation and informed the crowd of his father’s brave service. “The donation is being made in honor of my father who served in the United States Army in Korea from 1953 to 1955,” said Imperato. The 2015 VFW National Convention was surely memorable for the honor and thanks bestowed upon our courageous Veteran of Foreign Wars, and gratitude for all our veterans is forever ongoing.
