You may remember back in 2008 when Cimarron released an entry-level, .22 LR six-shooter at an affordable price called the Plinkerton. Fast forward 12 years later, and the Plinkerton is once again available as a single-action, Colt Army-style rimfire revolver. And, once again it's reasonable priced with an MSRP of $180.70.

Top features include a steel-lined, 4¾-inch barrel, steel-lined cylinder chambers and a Colt-style front sight. Plastic grips are fully checkered and include the Cimarron rider on the grip's medallion. As for the trigger and hammer, they are traditional single-action style. The revolver is finished in non-reflective matte black. Finally, the key-operated hammer block safety, when rotated 90 degrees, will keep the hammer from striking the firing pin.

Additionally, the Plinkerton has its own special tan-colored leather holster. The Slim Jim is a belt-worn holster specifically designed for the 4¾-inch Plinkerton barrel.
