At the 2022 Dragons Cup, held May 12-15 in Odessa, Texas, KC Eusebio of Team Bushnell and Team Taurus successfully defended his Open division title with a score of 1465.1087.

Although Eusebio was the Open division winner, according to Practiscore, the high overall score at the match went to a PCC shooter. Max Leograndis scored 1509.4639 points for the match victory.

In Open division, Eusebio had the high score for six match stages, out of 12 in total (scores in parentheses):

  • Stage 2 – Slide Into My DM’s (135)
  • Stage 3 – Puff The Magic Dragon (160)
  • Stage 4 – Hush Puppy (145)
  • Stage 7 – Skin that Smoke Wagon (155)
  • Stage 11 – In the Shadows (105)
  • Stage 12 – Why is my Gun over there? (115)

Hot off the heels from his recent victory at the 2022 World Speed Shooting Championship, Eusebio was using his Bushnell First Strike 2.0 reflex sight to claim the Open title.

“This year’s Dragons Cup was one of the hardest matches I’ve shot in over the last few years, and I absolutely loved it,” said Eusebio. “When you must push yourself against 107-degree weather, moving targets and accuracy driven stages, your gear absolutely cannot fail. And once again, the Bushnell red dot did not let me down. Its large objective lens allowed me to easily call my shots while always providing a full field of view. There’s just so much to like about the FS2 that I can’t imagine using anything else on my Open-division rig.”

There were about 500 shooters at this year's Dragons Cup, which is in its second year as a USPSA-sanctioned competition.
