Top trapshooter Mitchell Pierson is the newest member of the Fiocchi Shooting Team.

Mitchell, who hails from Lincoln, Nebraska, has been on a meteoric rise since joining the Amateur Trapshooting Association competition circuit. He began shooting at age 14 for his Junior High School team and the following year, he entered ATA competition. Since then, Mitchell has moved up through the ranks, achieving the 2020 Sub-Junior first team, followed by the 27-yard line and second team Junior All-American honors in 2020. Last year, he achieved Junior first team All-American.

In addition to high team placement, Mitchell completed his Grand Slam, running 200 straight and winning the shoot-out after 275 extra. He has also racked up an impressive list of victories over the last two years in State Shoots across the country, as well as a whopping 75 Satellite Grand and State Championship trophies.

“It is always exciting to watch a new shooter propel through the ranks so quickly,” said Holly Hammond, marketing manager for Fiocchi USA. “Mitchell’s rapid growth as a competitive shooter and his solid performance these last two years, especially, indicate a promising future and we’re thrilled to count him as a member of the Fiocchi Shooting Team.”
