Today, the NRA released the following statement concerning the 2020 Intercollegiate Pistol and Rifle Club Championships.

"Due to the current state of affairs, the National Rifle Association has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 NRA Intercollegiate Pistol Championships and the 2020 NRA Intercollegiate Rifle Club Championships. The decision was made with two key points at the helm—to ensure the safety of our student-athletes and coaches, and to maintain a fair and equitable competition for all those that qualified.

The NRA shares the disappointment of the collegiate community and wishes everyone good health in the coming weeks and months. Planning is underway for the 2021 Collegiate Championships. Please check the Collegiate Department website for more information: https://competitions.nra.org/competitions/nra-national-matches/collegiate-championships."
