You have to hand it to the folks at Magpul, they have been developing innovative products for over 20 years now, and recently have brought quality eyewear to the table that combines rugged construction and high ballistic protection. The new Defiant line of eyewear the company just announced will surely keep up this winning trend. (No MSRP as of yet for Defiant eyewear, but we will let you know pricing as soon as it is released.)

Put simply, the Defiant is designed to provide extreme impact protection without sacrificing comfort. As such, it has Z87+ ballistic protection and Magpul says it has been tested to MIL PRF 32432 ballistic standards. Made to accommodate medium to large faces with ease, the lens and frame interface are built to enhance the ability of the lens to flex during use.

Magpul Defiant eyewear temples are designed to eliminate pressure points while wearing over-the-ear hearing protection and integrate well with helmets or headwear.

The frames are constructed of TR90NZZ, and anti-slip rubber nose pads and temple pads should increase the comfort level for the wearer. Coated stainless steel pins are built into the hinges for durability.

As for the lenses themselves, they have an anti-for coating, as well as an anti-reflective coating on the inside of the lenses. They have been designed to be removed easily for maintenance.

A DAKA hard case and lens cloth/bag is included with purchase. Learn more at magpul.com.
