If you are a regular SSUSA reader, Lapua and the Cardinal Shooting Center are two topics that should be familiar to you, because they both come up a lot. Now, the two entities have joined forces, announcing a new Lapua Rimfire Test Center to open later this year at the Marengo, OH, shooting-sports destination park.

The new Lapua Rimfire Test Center will offer savvy smallbore shooters the opportunity to match individual lots of Lapua ammunition to their match rifles and pistols. The Cardinal Shooting Center location will feature rimfire ammunition testing at 100 meters, with electronic target readouts at both 50 meters and 100 meters for each test conducted. Not only that, but customers also have the option to send their rifles in for testing, or even schedule an onsite appointment to participate and view the test process.

The new Ohio location is slated to officially open this fall. Be sure to read Field Editor Art Merrill’s
review of the existing Lapua Test Center in Mesa, AZ.
