New: NRA U-25 High Power Rifle National Championship

The NRA Competitive Shooting Division has announced a new National High Power Rifle Championship for competitors under 25 years of age (U-25). The new event will be held at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM, on June 17-21.

Rifle categories included are Any, Palma, Service, F-Open and F-TR. Distances will be 600 to 1000 yards.

Tuesday, June 17 will be a practice day followed by individual matches on Wednesday and Friday. Thursday will consist of two 4-person team matches fired at 600 and 1000 yards, respectively.

National Champions will be crowned in each rifle category at the completion of firing. Additionally, the Team Champions will receive honors.

Competitor housing can be arranged through the NRA Whittington Center.

The program and registration form will be available April 1 on the NRA Competitive shooting website. Check back with SSUSA for updates on this new National Championship.
